Reuters held their Global Luxury Summit this week, and some great quotes came from the conference.
Lew Frankfort, Coach, Chairman and CEO, explained that when it comes to consumer feedback, Coach are actively speaking with their customers and asking for feedback. Within this they are acting responsibly and taking action, rather than acting as ‘clairvoyants’ of the consumer mind.
Shinzo Maeda, the president of Shiseido, commented on the ubiquity of Japan’s main shopping area, the Ginza, where the Chinese consumer is rampant.
