Not only is our jewellery expenditure at an all time high, there has been a 50% increase in net sales across Australia’s Asia-Pacific region (meaning we are more than doubling the efforts of the US!)
In another win across the retail sector, Westfield celebrates their 50th year in business, with group chairman Frank Lowy more positive than ever at the prospects of the future. Westfield’s continuous success is very interesting, particularly as we draw closer to the launch of their largest project yet in Australia - the Westfield Sydney Redevelopment Project, on the corner of Castlereagh and Market Street.
Incorporating a collective of international brands and Australian high end brands, and also what we hear will be a chic and brilliant food sector, the new retail giant is set to be completed in 2012, with the first stages rumoured to open this year in November. We look forward to the doors opening and the rush of shoppers that will ensue!
